The Truth About Psychic Hotline!

Where can I look at the first issue of my experiment but on the Internet. There seemed to be no (or should I say that no one) psychic reading hotlines in my local newspaper. But there was plenty to choose from on the Internet. A search for ' psychic Reading Hotlines ' in Google a lot, but I came to the realization that in the United Kingdom the best to try the prophets in England.

Some interesting results were returned of the psychic reading hotlines.Although most of the Web sites list for psychic readings were some websites spoofs and some skeptical people submit their personal views, for all to see. I read a few of the skeptic about their alleged comments and experiences with psychics and found most of them are a rant about the legitimacy of the prophets.

So let us try for myself. I called the first line that I could find. The majority of the prophets of the hotlines were female I was greeted by a smooth female voice, its funny.They are more in-tune with their psychic sense? I as I had expected to shake by a few questions and a disclaimer about the cost of the call. The lady went to ask me a few personal questions, although I do not like the idea of giving personal information, I realized that it was necessary to make a personal reading, just like how your horoscope is based on your date of birth.

I'm not sure if this lady tried to predict my future of me to say what is going on in my life. They seemed to be somewhat accurate, even though I have my thoughts like most exceed was what she said could be the conditions?

"I see that you have had a hard time, she said!" she went on to tell me that things are getting better, but I need to watch out for my health "! Could this does not apply to everyone? Ok! Fair enough, the following psychic hotline to test it.

I called another mental line ', this promised a free read.I called to be greeted by an automated system that me with a male psychological tiered. He had a much more dominant approach, I do not know if he just that or a bad mental day. He continued to ask me the same as the previous mental if the psychic reading. While going through this process I was left wondering if I got a free psychic reading or not as I had a premium rate hotline. When I put the psychic about that which he claimed that I got a free reading and that I was a lower cost per minute that the other hotlines, and the low cost only for admin fees. Hmmmmm! I hung up!

I was going to be a few more mental health hotlines and actually had some good experiences, even though I pay more. I do not use any credit card services if I was unsure about giving my credit card data from in the first place. Many of the prophets seemed to know what was going on in my life. Many prophets offered suggestions on how to deal with my situation and what I need to watch out for. At this point I wonder how much I'm like the rest of the population and if there is a good chance .... It can be a psychological recommend that my current position (who called them in the first place).

So here is the final test, I will call a psychic and a bit more specific about what I'm looking for.

I called the psychics Psychic Reading on the Hotline. The website looked a little different that the other sites I had visited. It seemed to be more such things as, but much less services sold those other Web sites and focused on Psychic Reading Hotlines more than anything else. 7 Signs Your Psychic is a Fake:

Sadly, there are people in this world who are interested in nothing more than stealing your money, and yes, fake psychics are included in that list. If you are looking for a psychic it may be difficult to tell whom to trust. After all, there's no board-certification required for someone to become a psychic. There's no Doctorate or other University-sponsored degree in the paranormal. There's not even an Association or other State or Federal organization that tests and certifies each and every psychic prior to their going into business.

So, how do you tell if you have a real psychic? That's not so easy, but it IS easier to tell if you have a fake psychic. That's because fake psychics will commonly slip-up and reveal themselves for what they are in one or several of 7 common ways.

If your psychic is exhibiting one of these 7 signs then you should take note and be careful, your psychic just might be a fake!

1. Your psychic is listed with problems with the Better Business Bureau

If the psychic or psychic company you are interested in using has a "D" rating or worse with the Better Business Bureau, watch out! That psychic or psychic company just might be a fake.

To be clear, there are literally thousands upon thousands of psychics and psychic companies in the world, and the Better Business Bureau only lists a handful of those companies. Just because your psychic is not listed with the Better Business Bureau does not necessarily mean your psychic is a potential fake.

Also, the Better Business Bureau does not determine whether a psychic is real or not. The Better Business Bureau only provides information about what other customers report about the service, or customer service, they received from the company.

However, if your psychic IS listed with a "D" rating or worse with the Better Business Bureau then proceed with caution! Your psychic just might be a fake.

2. Your psychic wants extra money to clear a curse on you

A very common trick of fake psychics is to tell you sometime during your reading that the reason for your (or your family's) misfortune is because you have a curse (or negative spiritual energy or other such terms) on you, and that it will take money in the form of more readings, or expensive candles, crystals or other items to remove the curse.

However, it's far more likely that the only real curse on you is the curse of having found your way into the clutches of a fake psychic. Believing that this curse on you is real is probably the closest thing to a curse you'll actually ever have.

Most of us have misfortune in our lives not because of curses but because of events or conditions that often are not in our control. If you find that your psychic tells you about curses that are placed on you are the root cause of you problems, and that they can fix your curse by you providing them with more money, watch out! Your psychic just might be a fake.

3. Your psychic guarantees you results

Your mother was right, there are no guarantees in life. Guess what? There are no guarantees with psychics and their results either. If a psychic is offering you a guarantee that they will make something happen for you, like making someone fall in love with you, or making your life better by removing a curse from you (see item #2 above) or guaranteeing that you'll be getting whatever it is you want, be careful.

Mediums and psychics don't actually make anything happen at all. In fact, they simply "read" the psychic energy that is present around us, or is present from the spirits of those who have passed on, and communicate their interpretation of that energy back to you. If your psychic is making guarantees to you about making something happen for you then it might be a good idea for you to carefully reconsider using that psychic. Your psychic just might be a fake.

4. Your psychic asks for your Social Security number or other sensitive financial information

No no no! For all of you in the United States: Do NOT reveal your Social Security information to anyone that does not need it for a very important reason. The Government may require that you enter your social security number for getting a passport. Your bank or mortgage company may require your social security number for setting up a loan or other account, but your psychic should NEVER need your social security number, period.

If your psychic asks you for your social security number out of the blue then stop dealing with that psychic immediately. Your psychic just might be (more than likely is) a fake.

5. Your psychic continually changes their phone number and other contact information

Psychics in good standing with the public do everything they can to ensure the public can find them. After all, it's good for their business if they can establish many different ways for people to contact them when looking for their services. Staying in one place and using one phone number for a long time is a benefit.

If your psychic is constantly changing phone numbers, or business locations, or both, then be cautious. People who don't want to be found usually end up changing their locations and other contact information rather often. If they don't want to be found that means someone, or some organization, may be looking for them.

To be fair, everyone moves in their lifetime, but if your psychic is constantly moving or changing phone numbers then be sure to ask more questions before trusting them. Your psychic just might be a fake.

6. You have a bad feeling about the psychic

According to Char Margolis, the famous psychic, everyone possesses the ability to have intuition, a way to tap into the universe's psychic energy. If your intuition is telling you to be cautious, or to flat out not trust someone, then it's probably a good idea to carefully consider what your intuition is telling you.

If you feel like the psychic you are interested in is not a good fit for you then you're most likely right. Trust your instinct, especially when your instinct is telling you to be careful. Many times other people in our lives will refer us to someone who they simply adore, but when you meet that someone you do not feel the same. That's OK. Likewise, a good psychic can pry information out of us without us realizing it. Sometimes this is helpful, especially if the psychic is trying to help us overcome fear or anxiety about the reading.

However, this use of leading questions can be put to bad use by those fake psychics who are only interested in taking money without providing us value. They ask us seemingly innocent questions, and our answers provide them with information that helps them rephrase it in such a way that it seems like they have clearly read and understood our psychic energy.

Be cautious about how you answer questions, especially early on in your relationship with your psychic. Try to answer the question, but try not to add in any extra detail or other information that a dubious fake psychic might re-spin to make it sound like they knew more about you than they actually did.

Getting a real psychic reading can actually be very elusive. There are so many psychic venues--psychic lines, psychic websites, bookstores, gypsy psychic houses, etc., where you can get a psychic reading. In addition, there are several types of readings that can be experienced. There are clairvoyants, tarot card readers; there are psychics who read runes or tea leaves; or psychics who use other tools to conduct a reading such as numerology and astrology.

Psychic Tools

You may be wondering if a psychic uses tools, does this mean they are not psychic or have diminished ability? Let's get something clear. Psychics who use tools can very much be naturally psychic or spiritually gifted. In fact, they can be quite powerful in this capacity. When a person is using higher spiritual gifts to access information which would otherwise be hidden, should they decide to use tools does not lessen their ability in the least and could, in fact, be a powerful aid for them.

There are some people who use tools because they are learning. Sometimes a person desiring to become a professional psychic with raw psychic ability, will start out by studying the Tarot Cards. Now this brings me to why psychics say different things. You probably could see where I was going with this. Remember, I mentioned above that there are all types of psychics who have varying levels of psychic ability and methods.

Actually, psychics can say the same things which may give you a secure feeling that what they are saying must be accurate because they are all saying the same thing. Wrong. Then, you have psychics who will tell you different things. Who is right, who is wrong? This can be most confusing. And, in fact, you actually just end up being more confused then when you set out to get clarity by calling a psychic.

I have found, being a professional and authentic psychic counselor, that when, for example you call a psychic network where there are hundreds or thousands of readers, you found them all saying basically the same thing. Basically, it is the broad picture that is very similar. The details will vary greatly. The reason that you will hear the same thing over and over again is because you have encountered a scripted type of reading. Not a reading that is authentic in nature. By scripted, I mean that they have certain responses that they have familiarized themselves with based on what you are asking. You may not be aware that psychic hotlines use to be how most people got their psychic advice. These psychics were provided with scripts, manuals, handbooks. Literal scripts for what they would say about every aspect of life you can imagine. Thousands memorized these scripts and made it their own. So each fake, unreal psychic you call will give you a reading that is a variation on a familiar theme. There is nothing less then an arsenal of these types of psychic readers out there, just waiting for you to call so they can confuse you. You will hear the same thing over and over because in cases where there are hundreds or thousands of so-called psychics, it will be very, very difficult to find a real psychic. The script is one where they tell you exactly what you are eager to hear. That the person you are calling about loves you, or you will get married one day, or you are soul mates. It's just a matter of time. This is the broad picture. They cannot provide you with real details because a) they do not know the details and have no way of knowing, and b) you are likely to be filling in the details yourself.

I Called a Psychic For Clarity, Why Am I So Confused?

If you call a number of psychics and they are saying different things, the different things are now in the details. You are calling one after another now to see if one verifies the other. This is where you will get so confused by your psychic reading. The broad picture is the same but the details are all different. You see in the scripted reading, the psychic reader is telling you what you want to hear not what you need to hear. In an authentic, real psychic reading, the psychic intuitive is accessing information on a spiritual level. People seem to forget this. Through a real psychic, you are getting guided information originating from higher consciousness. In these cases, you will be hearing what is necessary for you to know to go forward in a balanced way to achieve balanced solutions in your life. You are not meant to know everything you want to know. Like asking will you marry someone you just met, or when will you be living together and how many kids will you have. That's why they say different things. This is where having a realistic viewpoint of what to expect from a real psychic reading to begin with will provide you with a much more valuable experience. You have to have the correct mindset to receive higher guidance. When you have a scripted reading, what you are experiencing is fortune telling--an "entertainment" form of psychic reading that is so prevalent and which dominants the psychic industry today. Far from real, but this is the common practice among many networks and groups. The psychic gypsy scam is a fake reading taken to a whole other level. This scheme is intended for the sole purpose of conning you out of every single dime they can get from you, often times until you have nothing left.

Telling the Future -- An Uncommon Gift.

The work you do with a real psychic has more to do with revealing information about yourself and the path you are on with regard to your questions involving others. A real psychic can feel and see a person's thoughts or feelings; they can divine the future based on the energy levels identified at the time of the reading. I have found it rare when an "assumed" psychic can accurately tell the future. This is not a common gift. They cannot guarantee your future with another. It is easy to get caught up in the lie from a fake psychic and start believing in a false idea which will take you on an odyssey that will leave you disillusioned and confused beyond belief. If you are familiar with me and my concepts, then you may already be aware that I have been trying to help change some of the negative views that many people have about psychics and what they do. Since I have covered some of those aspects in other articles I want to focus more on what a psychic should be and what you can reasonably expect to learn from a psychic reading.

The most profound concept that came into my awareness at the beginning of this journey for me as a "psychic" advisor was the idea that we are all here to learn something; to grow and evolve towards perfection of the soul. When a real psychic is doing their job, they are assisting you in an awareness of certain aspects of your life when you seek out psychic advice. The reason psychic advice can be so powerful is because it can provide much needed insight into your life that you would otherwise not be aware of because you may be so embroiled in the day-to-day activities and events of your life that you shut out your own intuition and your own ability to access your Higher Self. Psychics are accessing unseen elements in nature; however within all of us exists a hidden, decipherable code that persons with highly developed psychic intuition and/or with the use of certain divination tools, can more readily access. These persons were either born with a natural gift and/or has developed it.

Once I found my true path, I decided to make it my mission to help those who seek it to find the power of their inner world and to access Higher Consciousness through spiritual practice. A psychic (a term which really is not to me accurately descriptive of what we do) is supposed to help you to help yourself. Not take the place of your own inner powers, insights or judgment by showing you that you can do this for yourself. A true intuitive psychic should be used for guidance and to give you probable outcomes based on the energy that you are channeling at the time of your reading. You see, a prediction can change because you have the power to change it, especially after someone tells you they see a thing that will happen but which you have the power to change. This is particularly useful when your advisor sees a possible negative outcome to a situation. This is in actuality an opportunity to change that possibility by changing your thinking, action, reaction or beliefs about a situation. Every conflict is just an opportunity to harmonize energy based on your thoughts and actions. Every outcome is not necessarily pre-ordained and fixed.

Many people need help to find their way and when you are speaking with a talented, authentic psychic, you are opening up more possibilities in exercising your free will to be at cause in your life as opposed to being effected by uncontrollable circumstances. Deep profound insights into your life can have a powerful affect on your consciousness and bring about the very thing you want, empowerment. It's a much touted word these days, but it is for real. It is the quest that all souls (whether they know it or not) are moving towards as we travel the spiral upwards to perfection.

Having said all of that, what a psychic can tell is varied. First, you have to establish what kind of information you are seeking. Second, you have to find the right psychic who can provide you with this information. Now, not all psychics are created equal and this article assumes that you have done your homework and have established that you are working with a professional and ethical practitioner.

Know Your Psychic - Different Psychics Have Different Areas of Expertise

There are some psychics out there who claim to be 100% accurate, can tell all, knows all, that they are a psychic, a medium, an astrologer, crystal reader, reiki master, etc. I find that psychics that claim to be everything to everyone, most likely are probably neither professional nor ethical. Find out specifically what your psychic does best! Many professional psychics will tell you what they can and cannot do. For instance, a medium can be a psychic but all psychics are not mediums. So if you are wishing to contact a loved one who has crossed over, then you should seek an authentic psychic medium. All psychics are NOT mediums. Some psychics are clairvoyant (which means clear seeing) and have visions. In my experience, I have talked with many clairvoyant psychics who are indeed able to "see" visions in the past, present or future. The same goes for someone who is empathic who can "feel" another's emotions. Some psychics can do both, but some can do only one or two practice areas very well.

Different Psychics Have Different Methods

Whether your psychic is clairvoyant, clairaudient, empathic, telepathic, a medium, uses divination tools such as Tarot, Runes, I Ching, or even numerology and astrology, the extent to which they can tell you certain information will be based on their experience in their craft, their skill, knowledge and natural gifts. All these elements play a part in getting you accurate psychic information during your reading and you especially want someone who is knowledgeable if they are going to be able to help you based on channeling from a higher realm. Some psychics use tools, some do not. Depending on how a psychic worker discovered their gift and how they have practiced it, will determine their skill level. I recall seeing a program on television where this psychic actually read peoples' butts (yes, their behinds). There were actually people showing her their butts and she would read them. Go figure. No one should ever judge what it is that connects a person with higher consciousness. For some it may be the Tarot for others could be butts, but spiritual gifts come in all shapes and sizes, no pun intended. It is mastery that should concern us. Psychic mastery is a discipline like anything else and anyone seeking psychic advice should want someone who has mastered their gift to a certain degree in order to help others with it.

Some Common Pitfalls to Watch Out For

I have found through many years of using psychics, clairvoyants, etc. that some can see certain types of things but may not be able to assist you at all with what it is that concerns you. For instance, you call someone who claims to be clairvoyant and you want to know whether or not you will have a reconciliation with your lover and she sees that you have a new puppy and that you're wearing a yellow scarf and you are blown away by this information. Wow, incredible. That is a gift for sure--to be able to do that and see that without seeing or knowing the person. So many everyday people have psychic gifts but that does not necessarily make them capable of helping you with a serious situation in your life that requires specialized help or someone who is experienced and knowledgeable and skilled in their craft at getting you real psychic answers channeled from Higher Consciousness.

Now even though that particular clairvoyant was able to see what you were wearing and that you had a new puppy does not mean that they can see clearly and profoundly the answers you seek. Their ability may not be a match for your concerns. I have found that people who are amazed by just small, little things like that tend to believe everything that clairvoyant says when in reality their gift is a gift of seeing "You" physically and what is in your physical surroundings, which is an excellent talent called remote viewing BUT is not a skill match for your reconciliation question or your career question. It is worth developing as a methodology for certain types of readings. But the tendency to "believe" everything from that point on is very strong because to an inexperienced seeker of psychic advice, this is amazing enough to cause you to make the erroneous determination that this person can see "everything". And that is not the case many times over. So all this is to say, ask the psychic you may be calling or contacting to spell out exactly what their expertise is and you make the determination that this psychic is the one for you.

There is a need in all of us to question things in our life; to wonder, to contemplate to verify, to know. Sometimes that need leads us to someone who can bring insight and clarity into a matter that may be troubling us based on Higher Guidance. Why is it that some can get the value of a spiritual consultation or psychic reading, while others become susceptible to fueling the human conditions such as emotional deprivation, depression, grief or perception of loss of any kind; and, instead of alleviating these things as a result of psychic advice regarding an issue in your life, the readings shift into filling an emptiness that becomes increasingly difficult to manage and triggers what is termed "psychic addiction" or "psychic dependency."

I recall a reading I was giving on a psychic network on the web, where thousands of advisers were offering their services--although no special skills or knowledge is required to give advice there. Since I own and operate my own service outside of any network, I have been able to experience a sharp disparity in the seekers who call network psychics and seekers who call for a private consultation.

Most often, seekers of psychic advice who are calling psychics on a network will call hundreds of different psychics asking them the same questions. Even when advised not to do this, the temptation is too strong for them to resist. They call and call trying to determine if what one psychic said would be verified by another, then another and another. On and on until the querent (the seeker) begins to call psychics armed with information they "believe," because they have been told, and which now takes on a new quality or dimension in a reading which actually begins to alter the baseline circumstances and causes a shift in what is picked up from psychic to psychic. In other words, somewhere the initial concern gets cluttered with unsubstantiated facts and predictions and consequently new feelings arise out of what they now believe and begin to feel they already know. A real psychic picks up thoughts, feelings, etc., but when a querent has new feelings and thoughts based on what they have been told my hundreds of psychics, this becomes a form of "transformed energy." Many psychics find themselves struggling with what they "see" versus what the client is telling them. It takes a skilled spiritual adviser to get past these new beliefs and pre-conceived ideas and to get to the bottom of the matter, undiluted by junk (most likely idealistic and often fanciful information where things turn out precisely as the seeker wants them to). A common misconception is when a psychic picks up on another's emotions and when favorable to the client, it is mistakenly turned into a favorable prediction of the future. This is where skill and experience is necessary.

This is not a place for someone who has dependency issues. Getting psychic readings can be just as addictive as anything that one can become dependent on-- as addictive as drugs or alcohol. As studies have shown, the tendencies are usually already there genetically for drugs and alcohol as these addictions span familial generations. For people who have found themselves addicted to psychic readings, a similar process is going on. Of course, there have not been clinical studies verifying psychic addiction compared to drug or alcohol addiction, or psychological addiction; but rest assured the same impulses and tendencies are inherent in this behavior with just as serious consequences resulting from calling too many psychics too often. The seeker now is going to the psychic to get a temporary fix where the idealistic, unrealistic information given now is what the seeker is seeking rather than illumination. The seeker becomes addicted to the "good feeling" he receives after hearing that everything is going to work out exactly as he or she wants. This works for a while until the seeker comes to the full realization, that they have been a victim of deceptive practices or even as a result of well-intentioned psychic advisers who find themselves susceptible to these pitfalls. That's when things get ugly and there are now thousands of bitter seekers who may finally reach a genuine psychic who can help them, but will never be able to recognize it because this is the point where a seeker calls and is "abrupt, impatient and ready to harass" an unsuspecting and real spiritual adviser.

I would like to point out my experience as an authentic psychic intuitive and the impression I am left with when I speak with seekers on a network as compared with those in a private consultation. Those who call me privately usually have done their research about psychics, most have often already been through the network psychics and have become totally disillusioned, yet their own intuition is telling them that something real is out there. They just have to try a little harder to find someone who is legitimate, someone whose ability is outweighed only by their integrity and deep commitment to truth.

At this point they are frustrated because they have gotten too many readings and they don't know what to believe and are somewhat angry and this puts up a barrier to tuning in properly and connecting with Higher Consciousness for the reader. A psychic cannot answer all of your questions. They do not know ALL. They can give you their "impressions" based on the questions-usually a piece of the puzzle. They can guide you to find your own answers, using your own intuition. But a psychic needs to start clean with a situation but when a client brings in so many varying factors (e.g., beliefs and ideas that they have received from other psychics), this presents a block. Some psychics will create a fantasy and the seeker then, in turn, feeds on the fantasy, which is totally unethical.
